How Does our Dual Fuel Technology Work? Our technology enables diesel generators to safely operate on up to 70% natural gas across loads, thereby reducing diesel costs and emissions. The Gas Train The Natural Gas enters the Gas Train first. The Gas Train filters the gas, manages its pressure and ensures the overall safety of gas supply to the Integrated Throttle Body. Integrated Throttle Body The Integrated Throttle Body also called the Fuel Control Valve, controls the flow of gas into the air supply of the generator. It accurately governs the gas flow at 20ms frequency enabling an immediate and controlled response to any fluctuations in load. The Integrated Throttle body is attached to the Air Gas Mixer, which is a device that is attached to the air inlet of the Diesel Generator. It performs the role of ensuring a uniform air-to-gas ratio. Programmable Logic Controller This is the brain and powerhouse of the Dual Fuel system. It monitors inputs from various sensors and uses its algorithm to calculate the optimum amount of Natural Gas that must be directed into the generator. The PLC ensures the optimum functioning of the Gas Train and the Integrated Throttle Body.
