The earthing for array and LT power system shall be made of 3.0 m long 40 mm diameter perforated GI pipe / chemical compound filled, double walled earthing electrodes including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cast iron cover plate having pad-locking arrangement, watering pipe using charcoal or coke and salt as required as per provisions of IS: 3043. v. Necessary provision shall be made for bolted isolating joints of each earthing pit for periodic checking of earth resistance. Each string/ array and MMS of the plant shall be grounded properly.
